Vanessa N. Weitzman, M.D., is subspecialty certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, joined IVF Florida Reproductive Associates in October 2008 after completing her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Center for Advanced Reproductive Sciences in Farmington, Connecticut.

Dr. Weitzman received her medical degree from Boston University, School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.

Dr. Weitzman is a native Floridian, and grew up in South Florida. She has experience in the treatment of infertility through in vitro fertilization, assessing and treating patients with diminished ovarian reserve and utilizing the latest advanced techniques in laparoscopic surgery. She is also interested in the preservation of future fertility and oocyte cryopreservation for patients with breast cancer.

Vanessa N. Weitzman, M.D., completed her undergraduate work at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Medical Sciences in the accelerated seven-year medical program with a minor in Archaeology.

Dr. Weitzman received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Most recently, she completed her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut Healthcare Center in Farmington, Connecticut.

Areas of Experience/Interest

As an infertility specialist, Vanessa N. Weitzman, M.D., has experience in the areas of in vitro fertilization, diminished ovarian reserve and advanced laparoscopic surgery. She is also interested in the preservation of future fertility and oocyte cryopreservation. She has been involved in research involving factors affecting oocyte cryopreservation and in vitro maturation.
